A Message from the GK
Greetings Brothers,

With my shift as Grand Knight of Council 486 coming to an end, I'd like to start by thanking all my Brother Knights for making my time as GK a success. With everyone's hard work to go along with several new recruits, we've received the Columbian Award and expect to earn the Star Council Award for the 2020-2021 Fraternal Year. I hope and pray that we will carry on our momentum and continue to grow in both strength and membership under the leadership of Kevin St. Pierre.

Also, it is with a sad heart we announce that our Chaplain and St. Joseph's Parochial Vicar, Fr. Sean Connolly, has been reassigned and appointed Administrator at a Manhattan parish, set to depart in July. We give thanks to God for the two incredible years that we've had with Fr. Connolly, who has shared his wisdom and priesthood with us all. As Fr. Connolly said in his announcement at last weekend's live-streamed Mass, "Priests come and go, but Christ, the Eternal High Priest, always remains."

At the same time, we warmly welcome newly-ordained Fr. Kevin Panameno to our parish family and pray for a smooth transition as he undertakes his Priesthood here at St. Joseph's.

Lastly, I ask that you continue to keep Charles Giles in your prayers as he recovers from the coronavirus and underlying lung issues.
