Our New CDC Website
is Almost Here!
The CDC has designed a completely new website. It is anticipated to be released August 11th. The site is filled with data, relocation information, business assistance tools, and oh so much more! There is so much information about our community, how we can assist businesses relocate or grow and a links to a great community prospectus, the community CEDS and CDAP reports and many more useful documents.
The site is clean and easy to navigate. Take a look and please give us your feedback and suggestions!

Economic Recovery Coordinator, Robert Clark Contract Ends

Region 9 has recommended to the CDC Board of Directors that the CDC Recovery Coordinator contract be ended early.  With the knowledge of the CDC Board, notice has been provided to Robert Clark that his last day will be Aug. 25th. With EDA funding, Robert was able to jump in with both feet as the community came out of COVID. The CDC created a big job with high expectations, and we appreciate all the time Robert has given to the position over the last 9 months. The CDC appreciates Robert’s involvement as through his work, the CDC has a better idea of our next steps. If you have any questions, please contact Laura Lewis Marchino at laura@scan.org. 
CDC BOARD MEETING

The next CDC monthly board meeting will be held August 11, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. in the Chamber of Commerce conference room or via Zoom. Speakers this month include Al Pfister talking about the Growing Water Smart group and future goals and plans for water needs in Archuleta County and Andre Redstone on the local timber industry and possible impact on housing needs in Pagosa Springs.
