It's Giving Tuesday! Today, people around the world are joining forces for the greater good. Will you join us?

At the heart of our work is the belief that everyone deserves for their basic needs to be met. With your help, we hope to accomplish just that, while also providing a bit of joy and comfort throughout the year.

GIVE TODAY

Pictured: Southampton Honor Society students helping to pack fresh produce bags

This past week, we served 295 families compared to 201 last year, and 179 the year before. For the past 4 months we have served more families than we ever have before in those same months. Sadly, this tells us our neighbors are really struggling to put food on the table.

It took many giving individuals to make this possible. Thank you to...

  • The Southampton Rotary Club for underwriting and organizing the packing of 150 boxes of food staples and holiday trimmings.
  •  HAPCO Farms/Fresh from the Start for providing fresh fruits and vegetables
  • The Southampton Town Kiwanis Club for packing 40 boxes of food staples for our customers
  • East End Food Institute and AFTEE for providing additional locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Our Lady of the Hamptons, SES Community Service Club, Southampton Cub Scouts Pack 14, and The Children’s School for hosting successful food drives.
  • Supplies for Success and Hamptons United for sponsoring art supply CareKits so we could provide one to each child we serve to have something fun to do over Thanksgiving break. This was generously underwritten by Southampton Kiwanis Club, Southampton Village PBA, SDPR, and Jaguar Southampton.

Want to get involved? Sign up to host a food drive here or click the button below to help ensure we can purchase enough food for our neighbors this holiday season.

This year marks our 30th annual Holiday Star Program. With your generous spirit we have provided thousands of gifts to local children in need. Last year alone, we distributed over 1,000 toys to children who would otherwise go without. If you would like to get involved, follow these steps:

Step 1: Pick up a Holiday Star(s) displayed around town (listed below) signifying a requested gift (age 3-4 toy or $25 gift card for a teen). Or email here for a virtual star.

Step 2: Deliver unwrapped gifts to the First Presbyterian Church, Heart of the Hamptons, Monday-Friday from 9AM-3PM. Or Emporium Hardware in Sag Harbor and Stevenson’s Toys in Southampton 7 days a week.

Step 3: Please drop off gifts by December 9th.

The following week, families who may not otherwise be able to afford gifts will be invited to come "shop" and pick out a few presents for their children.

A huge thank you to all of the businesses and churches involved!
