Weekly Prayer Requests & Praises

Dear Prayer Partner,

Thank you for your investment in praying for the ministry of CCI.

Here are this week's prayer requests and praises.

BANGLADESH

Please pray for Nayan’s parents, elder sister, and brother-in-law, and Shahanur’s wife and grandmother. Pray for their salvation and that God will open their hearts and they will accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Pray for Samuel's son and father as they suffer from health issues. May the Lord heal them and restore them to total health.

Pray for Bangladesh, the political situation, and that everything will return to normal. The price of everything has increased, and as a result, life is very difficult for low-income people.

NEW ZEALAND

Pray for the preparations for Dr. David Nelson's visit in April. Please pray that it is fruitful for spreading God’s Word in NZ. This will involve visitation of all the CCI classes and churches and end in a conference in Auckland where the guest speaker will be Dr. David Nelson, and he will do a seminar on “The Cross Before the Crown.”

We praise God for allowing Dr. Bernard Lee and his wife Helen, CCI Administrator, to promote the CCI ministry at the Connexion Conference in Auckland. Please pray that the attendees will show interest in holding CCI classes at their churches.

HAITI

In August, Clotaire Dorestant became the area coordinator for the southern regions of Haiti. He is already impacting that region with training and meetings with local pastors. Many of these pastors became interested in attending a Teacher Training Workshop (TTW), especially Max, who felt led to become more involved in the training and teaching of CCI classes in Haiti. So Clotaire conducted a TTW in November. This was when Max received his teacher certification. In December, Max started his first class with seven students in the village of Petit Goave. Above is a photo of the class on their first training day. Please pray for this class to learn and study effectively. Pray for their spiritual and physical protection as they obediently follow Jesus.

We praise God for the birth of a healthy baby boy to Pastor Saindius and his wife. John Kadmiel Saindius was born on 12/13/2022. Please pray for patience and strength for the parents at this time and that John will achieve the purpose that God has created him for.

VIETNAM

CCI Vietnam would like to thank you for praying and supporting their translation project. They finished translating and printing books #1,3,4,6,7,8,9,10 in Vietnamese, and books #2 and #5 are in process. Next year, all Vietnamese CCI training materials will be printed in the new translation.

Our North Coordinator plans to make the 4th floor of his house a church meeting place and a training location for Hmong pastors from other provinces. Pray for God to provide him with the skills and materials so we can start the Hmong pastor class in his house in January 2023.

PRAISE THE LORD JESUS for hearing your prayers and answering them according to His will. PRAISE THE LORD JESUS for supplying the needed financial support for the CCI national workers to carry on and expand this ministry in their countries.

May your prayers be heard and answered with the power of the Lord Jesus Christ. Have a blessed day.
Grace and Peace,

David Nelson
