Last month, Bita Milanian was named SVP of Global Marketing at GENBAND, a global leader in real time communications software solutions for service providers, enterprises, independent software vendors, system integrators and developers in over 80 countries. Her responsibilities include leading the company's global products, solutions and digital marketing, go-to-market and channel marketing strategy, corporate communications, trade-shows and events, as well as analyst, media and public relations efforts. A marketing and business development professional with extensive experience in strategic planning and maximizing market opportunities, Bita has contributed to the growth and success of many corporations and non-profit and industry organizations. She has held senior executive roles in diverse industries, having worked at various start-ups, Fortune 500, and multinational corporations for nearly two decades.

On Jan. 11, 2016, Anna Kaplan announced her candidacy for Congresswoman of New York's Third Congressional District. Serving her second term as Council Member in the Town of North Hempstead representing Great Neck, Manhasset, Roslyn and North Hills, Anna was first elected in 2011, becoming the first Iranian-American elected to municipal office in New York State. Intern at the Iranian American Women Foundation
|
We currently looking to mentor three qualified, motivated interns to work at the Iranian American Women Foundation headquarters in Irvine, CA.
The Office Interns will provide support to the IAWF Office Team and IAWF leadership. They will be exposed to the organization's advocacy efforts and research on Iranian-American women, events planning, and the day-to-day operations of a non-profit organization. All internships are volunteer positions and are unpaid and last from 10 to 12 weeks. For students, IAWF will assist in helping receive credit for their internship. Get all the information
