Guy Davis Conquers the Channel
Congratulations to NELMSC Vice Chair Guy Davis on crossing the English Channel! Piloted by the Sea Leopard, Guy swam from England to France in 10 hours, 50 minutes in late September. Way to go, Guy!
Join a USMS Committee for 2021
Did you know USMS is a volunteer-driven organization?
At the national level, USMS is governed by a number of committees filled with passionate volunteers who focus on different aspects of the Masters swimming experience. Any USMS member can volunteer on a national committee.
The following New England LMSC members served on national committees in 2020:

If you are interested in serving on a USMS committee for 2021, please reach out to NELMSC Chairperson Crystie McGrail before completing the 2021 Committee Request Survey. The survey is due on Sunday, October 11. Committee positions will be assigned by the USMS President and take effect beginning January 2021.

In response to COVID-19, swimmers will only need to complete two or more of the 2020 ePostal distances (rather than all five) to qualify for the ePostal Series Challenge: 1-Hour, 5K, 10K, 3000, or 6000. The 5K or 10K can be the LCM championship or short course version.
