NEWS FLASH TO OUR BUSINESS COMMUNITY IN THE ELK RAPIDS AREA!

ART RAPIDS has an exciting offer from the REID FAMILY FOUNDATION. If we can raise up to $10,000 by January 31, 2023, it will be matched by this new Elk Rapids non-profit that owns ART AND CONNECTION off US 31 South.

*ART RAPIDS is the non-profit that has been providing arts/cultural experiences to the Elk Rapids area since 2006, and provider of the WALK OF ART SCULPTURE PARK in the Antrim County Day Park on S. Bayshore Dr. that is approaching its 10-year stay in the park. Our 2023 goal is to focus our non-profit on the sustainability of the WALK OF ART SCULPTURE PARK.

* For a decade, this project has become a destination location for residents and visitors alike. Silently, it has been a contributor to the Elk Rapids economy with an estimated 10,000 visits annually as it is open year round!!

*Several of our sculptures have been recently purchased by other municipalities (Cadillac and Cheboygan) for their public art projects and private citizens for their personal collections. We now have musicians reaching out to perform in our annual free Concert in the Park as they love the venue.

*Local school classroom visits and a summer Kids Clay Camp introduce youth to the outdoor blend of sculpture and nature.

* ART RAPIDS only funding source at this time is our annual donor campaign to our local and visiting supporters.

If you are a business owner in the area who values and recognizes the contribution that arts/culture availability brings to our area, please consider contributing back to invest in the sustainability of WALK OF ART!

*A check can be made to ART RAPIDS, PO BOX 301, 49629 – website: artrapids.net for PayPal or cc payments.  THANK YOU!
