COVID-19 Protocols
A cloth mask covering the chin, mouth, and nose of each person using the library is strongly encouraged. Keep the mask on the entire time you are inside the building and please don't take your mask off or pull it down to speak. Remember that we are asking patrons to limit their time inside the building to an hour or less. This keeps everyone safe and allows for maintaining building capacity limits. Be aware that if the building or a section of the building reaches capacity, you may be asked to wait outside before entering. Food and drink are not allowed due to the mask recommendation. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We will package up a selection of books and sell them for $5 a bag. It is a grab bag, so you get the treat of a surprise inside! We will label the bags as Fiction, Mystery, Non-Fiction, etc.

Changes to Hoopla
As of October 1st Dover Public Library patrons will be allowed 4 checkouts per month via our digital service Hoopla.  The Library has seen Hoopla usage skyrocket during the pandemic, and current usage trends will surpass our budget for the service.  You will still have access to all the great movies, music, ebooks, and audiobooks offered by the service-- just in a smaller quantity.  Thank for your understanding as we all try to navigate the new normal during the pandemic.
Are you unsure what to read next, in a book rut, or are you looking for books that will capture your child's imagination? Let us help.  Answer a few quick questions about your reading habits, and let us do the rest.  We will gather some books, check them out to you, and make them available through our Book Pickup Service. This is a free service for all ages of readers. To start, fill out this form: https://bit.ly/3hHdhdO

The Library is Online 24/7
