Parkside Magazine
Last week, the Spring 2021 Edition of the Parkside Magazine was released with the theme of Parkside's Innovation Evolution. The idea of innovation is as old as change itself. Innovation by very definition is about making changes, more often than not changing something that’s very well established through the introduction of new methods, ideas, or products.
The good news is that our UW-Parkside community has embraced innovation and the changes driving innovation in society since our very foundation.
This issue discusses the future of the Future Focus Fund, celebrates the lives and contribution of faculty and staff members who have passed, recaps Parkside Day and updates on Athletics news and events.
We want to share an extra special thank-you to the people who made this issue possible:
Chancellor Debbie Ford
Vice Chancellor for University Advancement Willie Jude II
Editor - Hannah Wallisch
Writers - Sean Daniels, Derek Fye ‘18, John Mielke, Andrew Savagian
Photography - Robyn Elliott '20, AK Hall, Alyssa Nepper, UW-Parkside Archives

Have you received your COVID-19 vaccination(s)? If not, now is the time to do so!
You can get vaccinated by calling the Student Health & Counseling Center at 262-595-2366 to make an appointment. Or you can visit https://www.vaccines.gov/search to find a vaccination clinic near you.
Also, if you haven’t uploaded your vaccination records yet, please do so by following the directions in the video below.

|
Click below to learn how to upload your immunization record from a mobile phone.

|
By uploading your records, we can track the percentage of the UW-Parkside community that has been fully vaccinated (similar to what is being tracked at the local and state level). This information will be used to determine when and how to adjust campus requirements related to COVID-19 mitigation (i.e., mask-wearing and social distancing).
