Dear Residents -

The weekend we have been waiting for has finally arrived! Both spring and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Pearl River are here. For the parade, please be advised that the streets along the course will start to close around 12:00 pm. See the press release below from the Orangetown Police Department for more information. If you go, make sure you wave to me as I go marching by.

If you have a child who is 16 years or older and is looking for summer employment, the Orangetown Parks and Recreation Department is looking for motivated and creative individuals for their camp programs. If interested, please have them call (845) 359-6503 or email them at recreation@orangetown.com.

A big congratulations to the Tappan Zee High School Girls Basketball team on winning the semi-final game today, with a score of 44 - 41. The state championship game is tomorrow at 5:15 pm and will be played in Troy, NY. For a charge, you can watch the game live from the comfort of your home. Go Dutchmen!

Many thanks to all who donated to help the people of Ukraine. Your generosity knows no bounds. Because of you, over 25 pallets of supplies were shipped out to help those in need. At this time, however, we are no longer collecting donations.

Stay safe and enjoy your weekend.

Respectfully,
Teresa M. Kenny
