Dear Fourth Church,
Here are a few notes on this unseasonably mild day in early August:
-
We are just 25 days away from our Hymn Sing led by guest musicians Sandra McCracken and her husband, Tim Nicholson. You can help spread the word by liking and commenting on the event here on Facebook. Invite friends and neighbors to join us Sunday, August 29, at 6:00 p.m.
-
This coming Sunday, we will offer the third of four summer Town Hall meetings regarding Sanctuary Renewal. This Town Hall will be held via Zoom in an effort to serve those unable to attend any of the in-person events. Use this Zoom link to join the meeting Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Our final Town Hall of the summer will run Sunday, August 22, 9:00–9:25 a.m. and 10:30–10:55 a.m. in Room 131.
-
As you may have heard during the sharing of family news on a recent Sunday, this Friday is the last day on staff for Senior Director of Family Ministry, Stefan Wiltz, as he and his family relocate to North Carolina. This is a good time to be praying for the Wiltz family and thanking God for Stefan's faithful service at Fourth.
-
We have the joy of hearing both of our current pastoral interns preach in the Evening Service on upcoming Sundays—Nate Robbins on August 8 and Sam Eligwe on August 22. May the Lord bless and use each of these men for his glory.
Grace to you,
Don Nalle

P.S. Don't forget the Drive–Through Collection, Saturday, August 14, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. For this August drive, please donate clothing and household items only — no food.
