Two nations are currently exploring using patented RAIDA protocols as the foundation for their respective central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). One of the nations is ranked in the top third globally by GDP and the other is in the top half. The nations cannot be divulged at this point, but discussion are seen as very positive according to those involved.
Adoption of RAIDA's post-blockchain authentication system by any nation would be a major demonstration and proof-of-concept for CloudCoin and other RAIDA-based currencies.
CloudCoin-type currencies have signification advantages over blockchain-based currencies for adoption by sovereign nations.
RAIDA CBDCs will transact significantly faster than blockchain currencies, be much more eco-friendly, involve much less costs to the users and to the central banks, and be far more secure/unhackable.
"I am incredibly excited about the prospect of RAIDA being used to power sovereign currencies," Sean Worthington, CloudCoin lead scientist said, "RAIDA-based currencies can withstand inflation, be more efficient and help their countries economies grow in a safe, green way. I fully expect more and more nations to look at RAIDA as an alternative for their own digital currencies."
RAIDA-based CBDC's are now even more powerful as Super RAIDA protocols are being brought online, making transactions faster by reducing latency and inefficiencies.
