Gary is responsible for providing cybersecurity services in support of the province. He has over 20 years’ experience in information technology, risk management, and cybersecurity.

A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 2004, Gary holds an MBA from Simon Fraser University’s Management of Technology program.

Each CIPS Provincial Society has one vote at the AGM and are represented by their Provincial President or other designated representative.

This week, Stephen Ibaraki has an exclusive interview with Dr. Vassil Dimitrov.

Dr. Vassil Dimitrov obtained his PhD degree in applied mathematics in 1995 from the Mathematical Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He spent two years (1996-1997) as a Postdoctoral fellow at the VLSI Lab, University of Windsor, Canada. This allowed him to accumulate a great experience working with hardware engineers.
