The Foundation of Friends is excited to share that 49 new members have joined as volunteers who support our regional library’s growth and sustainability. Having launched our spring drive, we were excited by the overwhelming response. To date, the FOF membership has increased by 23% percent, from 213 to 262 members, and we are still growing. If this year is like last, we expect that number to continue to grow. Thank you for your enthusiastic support.
As many of our members know, two of our signature events, Dinner in White (August 21) and Wine Tasting (November 13), bring us together for a fun evening to celebrate the library, its programs, staff and volunteers. This year, we will bring the community together in person- Dinner in White at Souderton Community Park and IVPL for the Wine Tasting. If you haven’t attended these events before, we encourage you to make a special effort to join us this year in the festivities, knowing that your support makes a significant difference in the library’s future. If you are planning to attend these events, please contact Nick Hagdorn (nhagdorn@ivpl.org) for information and tickets.
The library, the volunteers and our entire community thank you for supporting the library and ensuring that it continues as a valuable asset to the Indian Valley Community.

Your local independent three-screen movie theater.
24 W Broad St, Souderton, PA 18964
The Broad Theater opened in 1922 as a single screen movie theater. It was the entertainment hub of the community for generations until its doors were closed in 2004. Kyle Hoff and Charlie Crown bought the vacant building shell in 2018. On November 28, 2020 the Broad Theater opened as a state-of-the-art three screen movie theater with over 320 seats. Digital projectors, Dolby 7.1 surround sound, and stadium seating provide a first class movie experience.
Customers can watch first-run, classic, and independent films. The lobby is a vibrant gathering hub for the community where patrons can enjoy concessions and the latest from FreeWill Brewing.
