Let's Clear the Air
A quick glance at the status of HVAC Phase One shows a very positive update on the progress that has taken place so far this summer. We are on schedule and excited for the new cooling and heating system to be up and running this month!
An added benefit of our HVAC system will be the addition of a cutting-edge system -- needlepoint bipolar ionization or NPBI™ technology -- which will actually help clean indoor air! This air purification technology creates an environment that enables the neutralization of harmful pathogens without introducing elevated levels of ozone, carbon dioxide, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or other dangerous compounds.
Guided by one of the Catholic social teachings, Care for God's Creation, the HVAC system will not only be more energy efficient, the cleaner air in our building will also benefit our students, teachers and SFD families -- all as a part of our Be The Light Campus Master Plan.

Spiritual Reflection
Lord, we are often tempted to work for “food that perishes.” Too often we take the easy road and the sure thing. We come to you today with open hands, that we may be filled with the food that endures for eternal life. Amen.
