LEMONADE BROTHERS SUPPORT RISE AGAINST HUNGER Truly a story of hope! Thanks to brothers, Noah and Cruz Gaona for creating a lemonade stand last week to support Rise Against Hunger. They raised $166! Thanks for your giving hearts! The lemonade looks really yummy!

VBS CELEBRATION SUNDAY Many VBS campers and volunteers came last Sunday to our VBS service! They sang some of their favorite songs and our Star Wars friends shared what happened during their week at VBS. What a blessing to share the VBS experience with so many people! Lightsaber popsicles followed on the patio!

Sunday, July 25 Join us this Sunday at 8:30am or 10am at Messiah to hear the next message in our series - Tangible: The Mustard Seed. Messiah Kids Sunday School meets at 10am in the Life Center. Student Ministries meets at 10am in the Youth Center for 6th-12th graders. Child Care is available in the Life Center during both services for children under 5 years old.

PRESCHOOL BLESSING BOXES We loved helping our Messiah Preschool teachers last year so much that we wanted to do it again this year! We have a list of items you can choose from to help. Our goal is to provide pencil boxes full of supplies for each student as well as a special basket for each teacher! Please bring donations on Sunday mornings, Mondays between 9-11am to our Drive Thru or you may ship directly to the Church Office if ordering online. Items due by August 9. HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER CAMP These high school students are at Forest Home Camp this week! We pray they experience Jesus in new ways and make lasting memories!

RISE AGAINST HUNGER 9/11 MEAL PACKING EVENT In remembrance of 20 years since 9/11, we are hosting a service project on Saturday, September 11 between 2-4pm in the Life Center. Ages five and older are invited to help us pack meals. Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief organization that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world's most vulnerable. Each meal is nutritiously sound, fortified with 21 essential vitamins and nutrients. We need to raise just 35 cents for each meal. Our goal is to raise at least $7,000 to pack 20,000 meals. so far we have raised $1,500. The more we raise, the more meals we can package and the more people can participate. We will have a special 9/11 Concert following the packing event on our South Lawn. Food will be provided for all volunteers! Plan to attend! THANKS VETERAN AIR! Mike Anderson, owner of Veteran Air stopped by Messiah last Friday to donate $500 on behalf of VBS camper, Brody McGreevey to Rise Against Hunger. Thank you for your generosity and for bringing your cool truck to Messiah!

DRIVE THRU MONDAYS Thanks to MESSIAH FINE ARTS MINISTRY for helping with our Drive Thru this week! They want to remind everyone to get tickets to see "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." THANKS VBS FAMILIES FOR FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS! During VBS, we collected food and money to support Caring Hands Food Pantry and fight hunger locally. It was amazing to see the kids bring donations each day and learn about helping those less fortunate.
