November 6: Baptismal and Anointing Sabbath
During both services on November 6 we will celebrate baptisms. And following each service (after 1st service in the prayer room and after 2nd service in the sanctuary) there will be small/private anointing services for those praying for spiritual, emotional, or physical healing. Inviting other friends in need of prayer would be appropriate.
November 12 and 13: Music, Worship, and Festival
Beginning Friday night, November 12, there is a CA sacred concert in the sanctuary. Sabbath morning will bring a special worship with a feature for going to our world (Each One, Reach One) and a moment of recognition for our veterans. Sabbath evening a Singfest will begin at 5 p.m. for vespers followed at 6 p.m. with food and activities in front of the church. Your friends are welcome for all of the above.
November 20: Campus Thanksgiving
Our semester (for CA) will end with a worship service of celebration. It will bring us to a reminder of all that we are blessed with even in world divided, cold, and quarantined. A Thanksgiving dinner is also planned for our campus, but when, how and where is still being discussed. Keep tuned!

This November marks seven years ago when three Goetzes made their way across Mid-America to relocate in Loveland. We have picked up another Goetz since being here and never regretted the decision to call this home. Thank you, Campion Church, for being a blessing to us and willingness to join us on being a blessing to the world. We are always ... All About People.

Our Church Center app released about a month ago, and we're blessed to see the number of people who have downloaded the app and opted into the digital directory. News note #2: New Directory Photos
While we continue to expand our digital presence with the church app, we are also still working on a printed directory. We're nearing the next phase: new family photos! We hope you'll take a few moments on November 6, 13, or 20 to take a nice picture with our volunteer directory photographer, Anndrea Taylor. She'll be set up and ready to grab a shot with you immediately before or after Sabbath School each of those weeks.

Adventurer Induction Ceremony October 13 |
Parents and grandparents dotted the sanctuary Wednesday evening to celebrate the 24 new inductees and 21 continuing members of the Loveland Cougars Adventurer Club. After marching in, the Adventurers recited their pledges, law, and sang their theme song. Pastor Goetz offered words of advice and shared the encouraging news of Isaiah 49:16, "I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands." Each Inductee received their official club pin, scarf and slide. Closing the ceremony, Pastor Andrew spoke a prayer of dedication. Let us all keep our club in prayer.

Campion Academy students enjoyed an outdoor lunch provided for them on Sunday, October 17, by the “Campion Academy, We Care” small group. Once a month the group plans a special happening for all of the Academy students. This group also sponsors the adopt-a-student program. If you would like to be involved, contact Jenny Gann. |

Primary Sabbath School Full of Energy |
Full, busy! Excitement! Lots of energy! Action! These were just some of the words Heidi Sorensen, the leader of the Primary Division Sabbath School, used as she described what goes on in that room on Sabbath morning. You will notice that she said “full,” and it was when I visited there for this article.
Heidi says the 18 – 25 kids love to sing, love to do the motions, and they love to volunteer; it does not matter for what or if they even know for what; when she asks for a volunteer, almost every hand goes up. The primary class is also busy—and good—at learning memory verses. Right now, they are studying the New Testament, specifically the book of Acts, and learning memory verses from their stories. The members of the class range in age from grades 1 – 3, so most of them can read at least a little, and they enjoy looking up references and reading the verses.
Because of the Covid-19, and lack of room, the class has not been doing crafts, but are sending them home for the members to do at home. Instead, they have been doing quizzes, charades, and other activities during that class time.
Asked if she has enough help, Heidi says she has four wonderful helpers, so right now they are fine. Our church is so blessed to have such dedicated teachers and programs for our children!

Costa Rica Mission Trip Planned for March |
The pastors are inviting all willing missionaries to share their interest in going to Costa Rica in March to participate in evangelism. While there is money to raise, we would invite you to indicate your interest even if raising money seems unrealistic. We have seen God provide abundantly and believe He will continue. Laura Mitchell Tusken
Laura Tusken and her husband Christopher have a long history here in Loveland as they both graduated from Campion Academy---in fact that is where they met. The Tuskens have two sons, Sabastian, who is a freshman at Campion Academy, and Britton, who is in kindergarten at HMS Richards School.
From Campion Academy Laura went to what is now Southwestern Adventist University, where she majored in education, and before their sons were born, she taught at Vista Ridge Academy in Erie, Colorado. With the boys, she has done some home schooling, and is happy to be a stay-at-home mom.
The Tuskens have chosen Campion Church because of the Christian education offered on our campus. She explained that they want to raise their boys to have a good relationship with God. Right now, they are still watching church on-line, but are happy to be connected to the Campion Church.
Asked about hobbies and interests, Laura laughed and said that she has been trying gardening, “but not all that successfully.”

Earl Lambeth Passes at 94 |
Earl was born August 26, 1927 in DeQueen, Arkansas. He was the oldest of 6 children. His father, Earl Sr. moved the family to La Sierra, CA when Earl Jr. was a freshman in academy. Earl realized very quickly he did not like California and used the military as a way out. He enlisted in the army the day he turned 18 and spent 2 years serving the country he loved. When he got out of the army a friend talked him into enrolling at Campion Academy for his senior year. He was elected president of his class. More importantly he met Enid Wilcox and knew he would marry her one day. They married in 1949 in Vineland, Colorado. Earl was a farmer at heart and enjoyed a couple of years working with his father-in-law on the farm. Lyle Robert was born in 1951, just before Earl and Enid moved to Boulder. Earl worked at the University of Colorado as a welder in their Facilities Management department for 42 years. David Charles was born in June of 1957, and Cheri Lynne in December of 1958.
Earl was a devoted husband, having taken care of Enid for 22 years following a brain aneurysm. Enid passed away on Thanksgiving evening in 2010. Earl missed her every single day. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved is “great grands” and they were able to bring a smile to his face like nobody else. He was a dedicated deacon at the Boulder Seventh-day Adventist church for many years and volunteered his time and talents nearly full-time following his retirement. He also donated many hours to Boulder Junior Academy and then eventually Vista Ridge Academy. He loved serving hot lunch to the students. He became known as the best peanut butter sandwich maker around! Earl loved to stay busy and did so up until he simply wasn’t physically able to any longer.
He moved from his beloved Boulder to Loveland in 2019 to be near his daughter Cheri and son-in-law Ted Atwood. He enjoyed being back on the campus of Campion and loved attending the Campion church each week.
He went to sleep in Jesus, October 25 following a long hospital stay. He will be missed by the many lives he touched over his 94 years. His family looks forward to seeing him and Enid together on that great resurrection morning.
Services will be held on Sunday, November 14 at 2 p.m. at the Campion Church. Burial will take place Monday, November 15 at noon at the Fort Logan National Cemetery. Earl will rest alongside Enid at the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.

HMS L.E. Program Touches Lives |
Seventh and eighth grade students at HMS Richards Adventist School are shining light in their community by reaching out through Literature Evangelism (LE). “It’s been a dream of mine since I started teaching,” says Carey Jordan, 7th and 8th grade teacher. Jordan has been working with Pastor Matt Hasty, Literature Evangelism Director for the Rocky Mountain Conference, to make this dream a reality.
After recent approval by the school board, the students have been able to go out to neighborhoods twice and will continue once-a-month for the rest of the school year. This experience has created a desire within students to continue sharing the gospel in their community.
Warren, a seventh-grade student, enthusiastically shared, “LE is actually a lot of fun. I am glad to bring people to Christ and maybe they can be saved.” When asked how it felt to be rejected, his response was, “I respect their choices and I don’t want to force anything upon them.”
Another seventh-grade student, Michelle, conveyed, “LE is great, but sometimes I get nervous when I don’t know something.” The Rocky Mountain Conference LE team has been training the students, and even retired pastors and volunteers joined them in their first experience in order to equip the students with the right tools. The students practiced knocking on the Sabbath School room doors with the pastors and received feedback on what they did well and what they could improve on.
Jordan expressed how she witnessed the students’ attitudes change during their first LE outreach: “The kids started so nervous, but when they came back, they asked when they could do it again,” she said.
Being part of Literature Evangelism requires a lot of patience, determination, as well as the mental capacity to overcome challenges. Another student, Elin, found it difficult to talk to strangers and pray with them at first, but still pushed herself to do so.
Eighth-grader Michelle shared an unforgettable experience: she and her peers knocked on a door and met a woman who had undergone many brain surgeries and has an uncertain prognosis, so the students gathered and prayed for her. Seeing seventh and eighth graders reaching out to adults in such a way made attending school secretary Aubrey Nelson emotional, with tears rolling from her eyes.
Reflecting on the event, Michelle added, “It makes me feel better to pray for other people.”
Even when people don’t make a purchase, the students are still happy when people open the door, and the students are filled with hope that they might open a lot of hearts. The money that is collected from LE goes towards a mission trip for the students, depending on the COVID situation; otherwise the money will be sent to Maranatha. Participating in LE not only creates an unforgettable experience for the students, but it goes further by funding missions to help even more people.

Campion Academy’s campus has remained open and the administration has a plan to return to in-person classes on November 1 after a COVID outbreak that put more than 50 students and staff in quarantine.
Many of those quarantined were considered close contacts but have not contracted the virus. Students and staff who have tested positive are reporting that they are recovering well and none have required hospital care.

November 6: Local Budget
This is budget season; the ministries have turned in their wish lists for 2022 ministry. What our church will be able to do is partially based on what we can afford to do. Each week we benefit from what has been given before. Let us continue to be a blessing.
November 13: World Budget
The World Budget received today is aimed to extend the radio ministries, which includes The Voice of Prophecy. Statistics indicate that 93% of people listen to the radio and 88% watch television, so this is a major way to spread the Gospel. If you designate Radio Ministry on your tithe envelope or on line, it will go for that; otherwise, the offering goes to the general General Conference World Budget.
November20: Local Budget
Have you visited any of the children’s Sabbath Schools? They are almost overflowing with excited kids—what a blessing! The leaders and teachers give their time and energy—they should not have to pay for supplies out of their own pockets. Thank you for supporting them!
November 27: Rocky Mountain Conference Advance
Our Conference can advance or retreat; none of us wants to retreat; for this reason, there is an Advance Offering. This single offering is divided among youth ministries, Glacier View Ranch, Mills Spring Ranch, elementary schools, Campion Academy LaVida Mission, support of churches and schools building, evangelism, and more.

Kitchen: The electricians and plumbers have began their work. Some of which doesn’t make any quick changes but sets things up for the coming work.
We are thankful to have the money in hand and the board is committed to continue raising a $150,000 for lighting/sound in the sanctuary and media equipment to better serve us in sharing our services online and on TV.
