June 2021
News and Updates
This year IEC Foundation celebrates 25 years. We believe in supporting each other in all circumstances. The IEC Foundation has developed a special fund dedicated to supporting IEC chapters, chapter staff, instructors, and apprentices that have been affected by a natural disaster, serious accident, or catastrophic life event. Please consider donating $25 to the Disaster Relief Fund to commemorate our 25th Anniversary here: https://iec-foundation.square.site/.
As a proud partner with IEC, The Home Depot is dedicated to saving electricians time and money. IEC members can get 2% cash back on all qualifying pre-tax purchases when enrolled in our free Pro Xtra Program. In addition to the rebate for customers, The Home Depot will donate a half of a percent of the sales in this program to the IEC Foundation.
In 2021 the IEC Foundation was able to support the growth of our chapters and apprentices with $415,397, donated through the Pro Xtra rewards program. Thank you IEC community for your support!

MEET YOUR HOME DEPOT PRO
NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER!
Hello IEC!!! My name is Lindsey Hill, and I am your Home Depot Pro National Account Manager. I am technically based out of Atlanta, GA, but I often travel the country to work with Individual Customers, your Local Chapters, and your National Staff. My primary role is to find ways to strengthen The Home Depot partnership with IEC, thereby driving additional revenue to the IEC Foundation to support the Electrical Trade overall.
On a more personal note, I spent the first 18 years of my life in South GA, where I cultivated a pretty strong southern accent. I spent the next 20 years in various parts of Florida, with the most recent 13 years in Jacksonville. I relocated to the Atlanta area in 2019 to once again be closer to family. I’ve been serving our Contractor market since 2010 (including electricians), and I can’t imagine doing anything else!!! When I’m not working, I love spending time with my 2 dogs (a 4-year-old Doberman and 3-year-old Morkie).

Contractor Spotlight
"I am extremely happy to serve the IEC Foundation, and the ability to provide over One Hundred Thousand Dollars in Scholarships for our Apprenticeship, is very rewarding. Many years ago I remember Bill Crawford talking about setting up the foundation and the good it will do. He was so right!"-Cecil Leedy
