We need a volunteer for the Coffee, Tea, & Conversation ministry this Sunday. Please call the church office (864-646-3913) if you can help. Thanks.
Update from Church Council
Effective Sunday, May 23, we will update our church mask policy to the following:
Please continue to wear masks when arriving to and leaving church, when in the hallways, walking around the building, etc. since we will be in contact with different people with different levels of risk and comfort.
When seated in worship, Sunday School, or another gathering (socially distanced from those from other households), masks may be removed by those who are fully vaccinated (if it has been two weeks since the final dose of the vaccine).
Those who are working with children or youth will continue to wear masks, both as an extra layer of precaution for those not yet able to be vaccinated and to model mask wearing for children and youth.
Those who are unvaccinated should continue to wear masks.
Church Schedule Update from Church Council
Church Council has decided to continue with our current Sunday morning schedule at this time, with 9:30 am Sunday School and 11 am worship. (Note that some Sunday School classes are still meeting on Zoom at other times, and children and youth SS has not yet resumed.)
We will also have coffee and tea available in the Fellowship Hall at 10:30 am. This will allow for fellowship time in between SS and worship, while maintaining our current schedule to avoid confusion. The extra time is also helpful for those with multiple Sunday morning responsibilities, especially as we are learning to use our new audiovisual equipment. If you are interested in joining a volunteer rotation to prepare and clean up coffee/tea, please contact Cheryl Patterson.
