JL SECURITY TRANSITIONS TO CAMBRIDGE SECURITY AUGUST 1, 2021
In 2020, the Security Committee evaluated the advantages of outsourcing security to a contract security company. After considerable research, the recommendation to the Board was to evaluate several private security contractors and determine which company was the best fit for JL.
This evaluation process included cost effectiveness, liability, reputation of the companies, synergies with neighboring communities' security programs, and training. At the conclusion of this evaluation the recommendation to the Board was to negotiate and contract with Cambridge Security.
Cambridge Security is a regional, Florida-centric security company whose focus is on gated communities and houses of worship. They are currently the security provider for Admirals Cove, The Loxahatchee Club, and Frenchmans Reserve.
The new patrol vehicles will have both Cambridge Security and Jonathan's Landing markings and will change to Cambridge's color of gray. The officers' uniforms will change to the Cambridge colors.
• SECURITY DIRECTOR KEYES
The great news is that Michael Keyes will be staying on as the Director of Security for Jonathan's Landing. He will become an employee of Cambridge but everything else stays the same. He will retain his office at the POA and lead the day-to-day operations of JL Security. He and all the officers may be employees of Cambridge Security, but they are "JL Officers" who will ensure that our community is secure.

Nothing will change when you or your guests enter Jonathan's Landing. The barcodes on your vehicles will remain the same and we will continue to use the GateAccess application for entry of guests and vendors.
