HEAT: The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for San Francisco Sunday, Sept. 27 and Monday, Sept. 28 with temperatures ranging from low to high 90s. Even during heat waves, we must continue to protect ourselves and our community from COVID-19. Stay home when possible. If it feels too hot in your home, seek cooler temperatures while keeping at least six feet away from people not in your household. Great places to beat the heat include shady parks and other uncrowded outdoor spaces. If it feels too warm inside and you need a break from the heat, San Francisco will activate Weather Relief Centers at the following locations open Sunday, Sept. 27 and Monday, Sept. 28 10 am - 5:30 pm.
  • San Francisco Main Library, 100 Larkin Street
  • Chinatown Branch Library, 1135 Powell Street
  • Mission Bay Branch Library, 960 4th Street
  • Southeast Community Facility, 1800 Oakdale Avenue
