Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for your partnership with Parent Teacher Conferences! It was so wonderful seeing you all! The entire staff shared how meaningful it was to connect with you. We are also deeply appreciative of all of the parents who donated time and effort to provide dinner for staff. We have been truly overwhelmed by your generosity and culinary skills!

We are looking forward to our Halloween celebration on Friday, October 29th.  We are asking students to come to school dressed in their costumes (please make sure costumes are school appropriate - no blood, weapons, or masks that would scare young children. We will have a schoolwide parade starting at 9:05 on the back blacktop. Everyone is invited and we will have festive music playing. Students will then come inside for classroom parties. Afterward, they will change out of their costumes to get ready for a day of learning.

In our efforts to minimize potential exposures, we are asking for one parent per party to help with set up and clean up. We anticipate this to be the room parent. The rationale for this is to prevent possible outbreaks in which full classrooms would need to be quarantined. (An outbreak is considered to be 5 positive cases in a classroom within two weeks.) We want to stay in school and very much appreciate your understanding.

Thank you again for your help with everything we are doing. This community has been INCREDIBLE with levels of support. I wish you all a very relaxing and reinvigorating break.
