Our second challenge is to refresh on what we can and cannot recycle.

Channel 10 did a great story with RIRRC identifying holiday items that can be recycled and holiday waste that belongs in the trash. Yes please remember, some items do belong in the trash. Watch below:

During the season, and all year long, remember if you are not sure if something belongs in recycling- find out or throw it out!

Never "wish-cycle". Putting wrong items in recycling contaminates not just your recycling, but whole loads that can lead to rejected tons of recyclables.
