A Message from Your
AMTA-KY Chapter President
It has been a wonderful two years as the president of AMTA-KY. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to lead such a distinguished, professional group of massage therapists. I would like to thank the board members for their commitment and dedication to the chapter. They take their positions seriously and their hard work pays off. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
A heartfelt thank you to the number of AMTA-KY members that took the time to respond to the call for candidacy. The next step in the process for any interested volunteer is to send your resume to Linda Baird at [email protected]  before the deadline of February 1, 2018 to be added to the online election ballot. Watch your email for the election ballot in late February.
If you would like to be on a committee or volunteer in some way other than sitting on the board, please email the volunteer coordinator at [email protected].
Thank you to the AMTA-KY membership for attending education events. You are the reason the board works so hard. We want you to have meaningful classes, network with therapists from across the state, shop at the vendor hall, and have FUN. Your attendance year after year is what keeps us planning throughout the year. Thank you for your continued support of AMTA-KY.
Make sure you get your registration in soon for the Annual Spring Meeting in March. We have a fantastic line up of educators from around the country to share their knowledge of massage therapy. The classes are filling up fast so don't delay...and bring your therapist friends! Spread the word...education lifts us up and gives us credibility.

Valerie
 Smothers
Please remember... AMTA-KY needs you, and YOU need AMTA-KY.

Hug your families, call your friends, be a community, keep in touch!
