Dear Parents,
With just 3 weeks left until we close out the school year, the school is buzzing with excitement. Our VPK classes are practicing for a private graduation as COVID is keeping parents away. We will share a video of the program and a year in review when it is completed. Our K/1 classes are also planning a drive-by awards assembly. VPK and K/1 parents are asked to read Brightwheel for more details.
As we prepare to close the school year, may parents have asked about appropriate year-end gifts for Early Childhood Professionals like those who spend their days with your child. For families who wish to participate in the end of your teacher gift, little envelopes were hung outside the school with the names of each child in the school. If you wish to place a donation in the envelope and return it to the school we will pool the gifts so that each teacher, office staff and Maria in the kitchen will receive a year end gift from parents. Envelopes will be collected until June 4th. If you wish to bill your gift to your Brightwheel account simply write BILL BRIGHTWHEEL with the amount and your account will be billed.
Thank you to the parents of Gold Door and Silver Door students for supplying the delicious lunches for everyone this week. The staff truly appreciates your thoughtfulness.
Many of our students will be changing classes over the summer. A list of room assignments will be posted a week before summer camp starts. Please mark your calendar. We are closed on Friday, June 11th for a staff planning day to close out the year and get summer camp ready for our campers.
