TAKE ACTION TODAY
We are heading into a very intense time, especially with the loss of 200,000 lives due to COVID-19 and the passing of Justice Ginsburg. It’s important that we continue to lift up the needs of children, families, and child care providers—this is a time to remind Congress that we have been calling on them for relief and they have not honored the asks of the people.

TODAY, we will take action again to call for relief!

Our goal is to get #SaveChildCare to trend on twitter, so we are asking everyone to tweet at 1:50 PM PST (4:50 PM EST) using the hashtag
#SAVECHILDCARE
Below are toolkits that contain sample tweets. We want congressional leadership to see and know that we’re asking them to focus on COVID-19 relief. We are doing 4:50 PM EST to represent 4.5M child care slots we will lose if the federal government does not prioritize a COVID-19 relief package with at least $50B in dedicated funding child care. To be clear—we still encourage everyone to be active throughout the day. We just want to create a moment at 4:50 PM EST.
