It's August and that means summer is coming to an end here at the beach. Don’t let that fool you though, as the weather is still great! Our room rates will start to go down mid month. Events are sparse this month but we still have the Star Spangled Concert Series every weekend and there is always something to do around town. Rates will be starting at $135.00 a night.

 Thank you to all of our guests and owners who have been supportive of the changes we have made due to COVID-19.

Protecting our employees and guests is uppermost in our minds, so plexiglass barriers have been installed at the front desk. Because our housekeepers perform a thorough cleaning of the rooms upon checkout, which takes a longer time period, we are unable to offer late checkouts at this time.

 Housekeepers will only clean your room during your stay if you request it; when they do the cleaning you will need to leave the room. The breakfast and hot tub have both reopened and our pool deck chairs are spaced per social distancing guidelines. The lower portion of the pool deck remains a non-smoking area however, smoking is permitted in other designated areas.

Daytona Beach Bandshell Summer Concerts & Fireworks
May 29 - September 5th
In 2021, catch a live summer concert at the Bandshell every Saturday night from May 29 through September 25 starting at 7:15 p.m. followed by fireworks at 9:45 p.m. at the Daytona Beach Boardwalk and Pier. All seating is reserved and includes a chair. General Reserved tickets are $4 / VIP Reserved tickets are $10. 
Enjoying the sights and sounds of summer at this historic coquina amphitheater is so easy - park in the Ocean Center garage, take the crosswalk to Ocean Walk Shoppes and the Daytona Beach Bandshell in Oceanfront Park, and enjoy the show!

Slammed Enuff Car Show
July 31st & August 1st
4th Annual Slammed Enuff Car Show is now a two day event. Open Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach. More information, including ticket purchase, is available on the event website.
Midtown Music Concert Series
August 14th
The City of Daytona Beach sponsored Midtown Music Concert Series happens monthly at Daisy Stocking Park. The free summer concert series brings the best local bands to the area. Daisy Stocking Park is located at 550 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd. Food and drink vendors will be onsite. Attendees can bring their own chairs; however, coolers are not allowed. Free performances from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday evenings include:
Downtown Daytona Nights Food Truck Rally
August 20th
The Downtown Daytona Nights Food Truck Rally will be held at the Market@Magnolia street venue (Magnolia Avenue will be closed to traffic from Beach Street to Palmetto Avenue).
Don't miss this fun event happening on three Friday nights this summer - July 23, August 20 and September 17 - featuring food trucks, live music (1-2 stages), show cars and a downtown merchants' sidewalk sale. The Food Truck Rally will have live music, plenty of free parking behind the Riverfront Shops, and downtown restaurants will be open. 
National Reptile Breeder's Expo
August 21 & 22nd
National Reptile Breeder's Expo, the largest reptile meeting in the world, will be held at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach August 21-22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The Expo is open to the public, admission $15 at the door (cash only), children 6 and under ar free. 
2021 Coke Zero Sugar 400
August 28th
Be a part of one of the most anticipated races of the season as the stars and cars of the NASCAR Cup Series battle for victory under the lights. The Coke Zero Sugar 400 is a premier event on the NASCAR schedule and the happens during the Coke Zero Sugar 400 Weekend August 26-28 in Daytona Beach.

Serving as the regular-season finale, the 160-lap, 400-mile race will provide one last opportunity for drivers to qualify for the NASCAR playoffs. With playoff spots on the line, the stakes are going to be high for drivers; racing action will be intense throughout the entire field. Every competitor in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 is going to have an equal shot to make the NASCAR playoffs – win and you are in. With the traditional pack-style racing that occurs at Daytona, everyone is going to have a chance at victory.
