Regional Reports
Manitoba Report
Spring is taking its time to get going here in Manitoba this year. A near record amount of snowfall and colder than normal temperatures throughout March mean that it will likely be a couple more weeks before turf is visible and covers can start to be removed. On the bright side, after 2 years of record traffic during Covid-19 perhaps a slightly later than usual start might give the turf a bit of a break prior to another busy golf season.
Ontario Report
Spring has been slow to develop here in Ontario this year with fluctuations in both temperatures and rainfall. The snow has melted off in most areas of the province and reports are generally good with little to no ice damage to the turf.

We would like to thank once again the OGSA for partnering with the CGSA in a successful virtual conference in March.
