Serving New Hampshire Since 1969 With Integrity, Quality & Service
Manager's Message from Salisbury Green
Hello to our Residents at Salisbury Green,

Summer has left us and the Autumn season has arrived. There is no denying that this time of the year is a favorite of many. I hope everyone will have the opportunity to get out and experience all that Fall in New Hampshire has to offer. There are road trips to view the foliage, apple and pumpkin picking, Halloween, and the fairs and festivals. It is a great time of the year to take advantage of the endless hiking trails - the heat is gone and so are the bugs!

I would like to thank all the residents for their cooperation and support while we continue to deal with the Covid-19 challenges. We ask that you follow the CDC guidelines. We are requiring employees to wear a mask during maintenance visits, follow suggestions for social distancing, and do frequent handwashing. Please remember to be respectful of your neighbors and our employees while going about your daily activities. The Hodges Companies maintenance team works very hard to complete each work order within 24 hours. Please help keep our employees safe by wearing a mask while they are in your home.

The pool is now closed. We had a very successful season at the pool, and we appreciate the residents' efforts to follow the pool rules and the safety guidelines.

The public garden plots are waning and now is the time for all the gardeners to clean up their plots, remove veggie cages and other gardening items. Our grounds crew needs to get the area cleared before the snow flies. Also, please take time to clean up your patio and balcony area and store items in your attic bin before the winter months arrive.

As always, the grounds crew did a great job with the summer flowers planted throughout the property. Their attention to detail and the upkeep of the flowers and gardens is very much appreciated. Their efforts and hardwork help make Salisbury Green a desireable place to live. Please take a moment to thank Kevin and his team the next time you see them on the grounds working to keep Salisbury Green beautiful.

Residents needing assistance at the Salisbury Green Rental Office, may now enter the building, however, wearing a mask is still required. The door remains locked so please ring the door bell or knock. For your convenience, you may find it beneficial to call me ahead of your visit, 603-224-9130.

Upcoming dates of note where the Salisbury Green Rental Office and The Hodges Companies Main Office will be closed: Thursday, November 11 to honor our service members on Veteran's Day and Thursday, November 25th and Friday, November 26th for the Thanksgiving holiday so that our employees can spend time with their families. The offices will re-open on Monday, November 29th at 8:00 a.m.

I would like to welcome our new residents. I hope your stay will be long and enjoyable. We are fortunate to have a nice group of residents who make Salisbury Green a desirable community to call home. Please be sure to sign up for the newsletters and email blasts and give a "like" to the Hodges Companies Facebook page. These publications will help keep you informed of events happening at Salisbury Green and in the local Concord area.

Renter's Insurance
"A Little Pieces of Mind"

You've just moved into your new apartment at Salisbury Green and the last thing you’re thinking about is renter’s insurance.  You have a lot to do: setting up your telephone, electric and cable service, letting people know your new address, and deciding how to arrange your living room.  No matter how busy you are, some of the best money you'll ever spend is for renter's insurance. As part of your move-in package, we provided you with information about the importance and benefits of having a tenant homeowner's policy. Your personal belongings are your responsibility to insure and replace in the event of a disaster, natural or otherwise. In addition to replacing your personal items, some policies offer additional coverage for things like relocation, personal liability, or medical payments. Be sure to let your agent know that you live in a secured building with deadbolt locks, a sprinkler system, and that the property is located close to the Concord Fire Dept. Heights Substation. For very little money, you'll have the resources to start over and replace your belongings if disaster strikes. Consider contacting a local agent about tenant homeowners insurance. You'll be amazed how little peace of mind can cost?
