Self care is one of the cornerstones for building the tower of regulation. Self care is foundational for self regulation and underlies successful connection and co-regulation.
In this workshop, self awareness, recharging, and regulation will be explored. The workshop will look at what is doable and helps with developing sets of tools for different situations.
BIOGRAPHY:
David Beagley is an Occupational Therapist with over 35 years of working with children, teens, families, adults, schools, and agencies. He works full time with children, youth and families in pediatric Mental Health. He also has a trauma informed private Occupational Therapist practice, is a certified Safe Sound Protocol Practitioner, an endorsed Health Rhythms facilitator, and a registered ASIST trainer. He is a husband, father, step-dad, heart-dad, and foster parent.
This is open to Foster Parents, Kinship Caregivers, Out of Care Caregivers, Adoptive Families, DAA's, and Social Workers.
