Free Summer Concerts at the Coney Island Amphitheater

This year's FREE Summerstage Concerts were made possible by Councilman Mark Treyger and City Parks Foundation. Our first concert is Gloria Gaynor on July 17, 2021.

Tickets are no longer required for free performances at SummerStage. All free performances will be open to the public, first come, first served, with limited capacity, and will continue to follow CDC recommendations. Doors for all shows open at 5pm.
Hi Mask Force Volunteer,

Mask Force is heading back out on trains, on buses, and in stations on Tuesday, July 20.

We began Mask Force exactly one year earlier, on July 20 last summer. Your dedication over the past year has had a huge impact. You’ve helped us raise mask compliance to over 98% at the peak, helped hand out nearly 750,000 masks, and helped improve the experience customers have while traveling with us. A year later and they are still happy to see us out there!

Masks are still an important part of traveling, especially while work continues to vaccinate more New Yorkers. But mask usage is slipping: surveys completed in June showed it had decreased 3%, with an increasing number of riders with masks wearing them incorrectly. Preliminary data from last week indicates that mask usage has decreased a lot further this month. We need your help to reverse this trend.

Sign up for a shift here, help us hand out free masks, and welcome riders back to subways, buses, and trains!

See you in two weeks.

Sincerely,

The Team at Mask Force Central

TO EVERYONE WHO NEED VACCINATION RIGHT NOW
FEMA is asking for your help in getting people vaccinated at the
New York City Brooklyn and Queens Community Vaccination Centers.

Their mission is to speak with organizations like yours and provide direct information concerning the vaccination process and the opportunities to get people vaccinated at the New York City Vaccination Centers in Brooklyn (Medgar Evers College) and Queens (York College).

They are looking at ways to help underserved populations from the age of 16 years old and older in accordance with the Governor’s Vaccination Program.

I would ask that you solicit your members/congregants who wish to be vaccinated and develop a list of names, telephone numbers, and zip codes where they live and provide that list to our contact at FEMA, Kimberly Grisham (kimberly.grisham@fema.dhs.gov).

They will then have staff at the vaccination centers call them directly, register them on the NY DOH website, and provide you and the individuals a specific date for vaccination of your choosing.

They can only offer this through April 27th due to the limited time to secure the first vaccine and schedule and administer the second vaccine dose before the intended end date of the New York City Community Vaccination Centers.

If your organization is interested, please contact right now Kimberly Grisham at
