Dear Pine Cobble Community,
As we did this summer, we will be doing Broad Institute COVID-19 testing here on campus on Friday, September 25th, from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Please plan to come at your child's designated time. For families with multiple children, please come at the time designated for your older/oldest child.
Given it is a school day, there will be asynchronous learning through Google classroom and Seesaw. Your child's teacher will share the plan with you and your children during the week.
Please pull up to the front circle at your designated time. We ask that you bring with you this consent form already signed or you will sign this consent form upon arrival. Then you will be directed to one of the two testing spots - main door and mudroom door - and we will go through the same questions and the same swab test that was done this summer.
Friday, September 25th:
7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. - Faculty and staff
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. - 6th, 7th and 8th graders
11:00 - 1:30 p.m. - 2nd, 3rd and 4th, and 5th graders
1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Beginners, PreK, K and 1st graders
A few details:
- If your child has had a test in the last week that produced a negative test result, you still must bring your child to be tested on Friday.
- If the time designated for your child's grade level does not work for your family, please send me a separate email at [email protected], Please only request this if it is truly not possible to come in the window for your child. We need the majority of our students to come at their designated time, as we are doing this all in one day this time.
- If you cannot make it on Friday, the 25th, you must get a COVID-19 test done that same day (no earlier than Friday the 25th) or Saturday the 26th and return your results by email to [email protected] before your child can return to school.
