Spring awakening is here.
COVID 19 is on the decline.

Grieving & acknowledging all we've been thorough can be an important part of moving forward
We all lament in different ways for different things.
(loss, health, stay at home, work, prom, weddings, family building, the list goes on)

A few things to consider:
1.Putting life on hold. That does not necessarily mean work, it can also relate to life events like weddings, medical care and, in my practice most notably, fertility treatment. It’s never easy to cope with the sadness, anxiety and depression that comes along with waiting, especially if your hopes were up and it was planned or expected. It takes the ability to recognize what you think and how you feel about the situation, look at it and determine how you’d like to proceed.
2. Not being able to visit those you love or see co-workers. Human interaction is powerful and necessary. It’s amazing that we now have the ability to FaceTime, Skype & WhatsApp, because seeing can help alleviate loss a bit. This is a time to understand the opportunity to truly connect, by listening and learning more about a story you thought you knew from mom, or grandma, your partner or friends.
3. Loss of being able to control your life as you did is devastating for some. It’s time to try and evaluate what’s truly important and what you really want. It’s a time to look at where you are and think about where you want to go.

A quick (or slow) meditation or if you prefer relaxation exercise that can help us all when we recognize we need to take a breath
STOP
Is a mindfulness exercise that can be done in the moment or moments to calms the mind, reduces #anxiety and increases #awareness. Considering trying it.
S
=Stop what you are doing even your breath and try to allow it to feel your center when you pause. Try to feel the calm.
T
=Take a few deep breath, it should help to you calm and allow you to be in the present, fully. Try to stop the noise.
O
=Observe what is going on. Ask yourself what you’re feeling……what you’re thinking…… what you want to do next. Give yourself a moment between questions and acknowledge all that you are truly thinking of all the things going on.
P
=Proceed with whatever you were doing, what you have chosen to proceed with. Allow yourself understand that you have made a choice, based on what you have observed.
