Employee Wellness offers the Premium Rewards Program as a way to make your journey to wellness even more rewarding for you. It's all a part of caring for yourself so you can care for others. Meet the requirements listed in the Premium Rewards Structure document to be eligible for $100 per month in premium incentives.

The FY23 Premium Rewards Program begins on September 1, 2020 and ends August 31, 2021. The deadline for completing the program is August 31, 2021. The premium discount will be effective March 1, 2022.

FY23 Premium Reward Program Requirements
Active Employees September 1, 2020 through April 30, 2021 Deadline: August 31, 2021

Follow these steps to be eligible for $100 per month in premium rewards. Premium rewards are effective March 1, 2022 through February 28, 2023.

Step 1: Complete the MyCigna online Health Assessment (250 Premium Points)
Step 2: Complete an Annual Physical with Lab Values (250 Premium Points)
Step 3: Earn at least 500 additional points through programs and activities (1,000 total Premium Points)

If you have a covered spouse on the Harris Health Medical Plan, both you and your spouse must each complete the program by August 31, 2021 to be eligible for the full premium rewards.

e-Gift Cards

All e-gift cards for the FY22 Premium Rewards Program (September 1, 2019 – August 31, 2020) have been distributed. If you received a notification from Employee Wellness and did not receive your e-gift card for the FY22 Premium Reward Program, please email employeewellness@harrishealth.org. You must have completed your annual physical, online health assessment and earned an individual total of at least 3,000 Premium Points by August 31, 2020, to be eligible for an e-gift card.


To be eligible for an Amazon e-gift card for the FY23 Premium Rewards Program (September 1, 2020 – August 31, 2021), you must:
1. Complete an Annual Physical with Lab Values (250 Premium Points)
2. Complete the MyCigna online health assessment on www.MyCigna.com (250 Premium Points)
3. Earn an individual total of at least 3,000 Premium Points
Gift cards are distributed at the end of each month, and all requirements must be listed as completed in your MyCigna account at the time of distribution. Once you become eligible for a gift card, you will receive an email notification from Employee Wellness. The e-gift card(s) are sent from do-not-reply@wgiftcard.com.

The gift card levels are:

•       Gold ($50 Amazon e-gift card) – Complete your annual physical, online health assessment, and a total of 3,000 Premium Points
•       Platinum ($100 Amazon e-gift card) – Complete your annual physical, online health assessment, and a total of 4,000 Premium Points

Please note: All gift cards are taxed for Harris Health employees.
Employee Wellness Announcement
In response to the Harris Health System recommendation to postpone, cancel or conduct virtual classes and events, all group exercise classes are canceled indefinitely. All onsite activities (classes, booths, laser coaching) will be held via Webex, online or over the phone. We have also added opportunities to earn Premium Points online.

February 2021 Explore and Learn: Celebrating American Heart Month

This month you can choose between two Explore & Learn Booths: "Being Heart Smart" or "Building Muscle, Burning Fat."

Complete the activity by February 28, 2021, to receive 5 Premium Points on MyCigna.com. Premium points will be entered after the activity closes at the end of month, and you should expect to see it on MyCigna by mid-March. It will reflect the date that you completed the activity.

Healthy Living: Pregnancy & Beyond

Livongo Diabetes Prevention Program
Livongo Diabetes Prevention Program is a new health benefit being offered at no cost to you. Livongo helps make living healthy and managing weight easier, with a smart scale, guidance on healthy habits, and personalized health coaching.
 
Eligible Members: The program is offered at no cost to employees and covered dependents under the age of 65 who qualify for Livongo and are enrolled in the Harris Health Medical Plan. You may not qualify if you are pregnant, have diabetes, or have a BMI that is lower than the program minimum.

*If you are not qualified for this program, you may be qualified for the Naturally Slim program.

Naturally Slim

Naturally Slim


Ever wonder how some people can eat all their favorite foods and not gain weight? Naturally Slim® is an online program that will teach you how. And here’s a hint: it doesn’t include starving, counting calories, or spending hours prepping “approved” foods.

Naturally Slim is now available anytime throughout the year. Naturally Slim participation is based on health criteria. To ensure accuracy of eligibility, we strongly encourage you to have a have a Wellness Screening Form on file with Cigna. The Wellness Screening form can be downloaded on www.mycigna.com.

All participants will receive 50 Premium Points per Naturally Slim session they complete.There are approximately 23 sessions available.*If you are not qualified for this program, you may be qualified for the Livongo Diabetes Prevention Program.

Virtual Walk! 

Join us Monday mornings at 10:15AM and Wednesdays at 4:30PM for a 30-minute virtual walk.

You will be led by one of our Employee Wellness Coordinators through some beginner - intermediate level walking moves, such as side steps, knee lifts and kicks. This walk is designed to get your heart rate climbing and have a little fun with fitness!

All group exercise classes are free to employees, spouses, and dependents over age 18. No sign-up is required. If you have not attended before, make sure to fill out a liability waiver before attending. One waiver covers all participation in group exercise and sports for the full calendar year.
Harris Health Fitbit Group



Healthy@Harris now has a Harris Health Fitbit Group. We will use the Harris Health Fitbit group to host step challenges and reward individuals for achieving 10,000 or more steps per day. You MUST join the Harris Health System Fitbit group in order to participate in Harris Health Fitbit challenges and to receive 20 Premium Points on www.mycigna.com for each day that you record 10,000 steps.

If you participated in FY22, you do not need to re-enroll for FY23. Just keep syncing your device so that your status remains active.

Recreational Sports Leagues


Winter Season: 1/21/210 - 02/25/21

Employee Wellness offers a variety of recreational sports teams. Sports leagues are free to employees, spouses and children 18 years and older. All of our sports leagues are organized and run by our vendor partner, Sports Monkey.

All participants, including spouses and dependents, are REQUIRED to have a signed liability waiver from the current calendar year on file with Employee Wellness PRIOR to participating in any sports league. Please note since the recreational sports begin in 2021, all participants will need to have a liability waiver completed on or after 1/1/21.

Employees and spouses who participate in sports leagues will receive 20 Premium Points per game they attend on www.mycigna.com. To receive 20 Premium Points for attending each game, your team captain must submit their attendance forms in a timely manner.

Livongo Diabetes Management Program


Harris Health System employees and covered spouses who have diabetes and coverage on the Harris Health Medical plan are eligible to join Livongo for Diabetes.

Track Your Steps in the Livongo App


Ready, set, step! You can now track steps right in your Livongo app. Just open your app, select “Start tracking your steps,” and see all your key stats in one place. *No premium reward points will be awarded.
Livongo and Free Diabetes Medications

Participants engaged in the Livongo Diabetes Management Program who use their Livongo meter to test their glucose a minimum of 4 times per month will be eligible to receive diabetes medications (generic medications and insulin) free of charge effective the 15th of the following month. 
Quarterly HgA1c Check

All employees and spouses enrolled in Livongo for Diabetes can receive free quarterly HgA1c checks. The checks can be completed whether you are fasting or non-fasting. It only takes 5 minutes to receive the test results. Our Cigna Onsite Health Coach will assist you in reaching the goal of improving and or maintaining a healthy HgA1c and managing your diabetes. Participants are highly encouraged to share their results with their doctor.

Managing the Challenges of Coronavirus During the Holidays

As the pandemic continues to reshape our lives, the holiday season will likely look somewhat different. Traditions and norms may be upended. Loved ones we enjoy celebrating with may not be able to attend this year. Travel and close gatherings may be impacted. Along with the standard stressors of the season, many of us may be feeling deeper, more challenging emotions, such as grief, worry, or anxiety.

Cigna Active & Fit Direct News


HHS Active & Fit Direct members can receive a financial credit for each month their gyms are closed. Members must follow the following steps in order to get the credit – it is not automatic: 

Step 1: Login to https://www.activeandfitdirect.com/identity/login.
Step 2: Click on the down arrow next to your name in the top right corner
Step 3: Scroll down on your account page and click on “Cancel Program Enrollment”
Step 4: New box pops up titled “Credit for Fitness Center Closures” – click on “Stay Enrolled, Get Credit”
Step 5: Window will pop up confirming your selecting of continuing membership

Active&Fit Direct is waiving enrollment fee of $25 from January through February 2021. There are over 800 on-demand workout videos that can be utilized. If an individual is not enrolled then they can access Active&Fit Direct’s website by first logging into myCigna.com and then routing to Active&Fit Direct’s website through the Healthy Rewards section. Telephonic Cigna Coaching


Achieve your health goals with the help of a trained Cigna health coach. Even when faced with frustrating ups and downs related to a long-term health condition such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, congestive heart failure, asthma, depression, diabetes, low back pain, COPD etc. Wellness Coaches work one-on-one with you to help improve your health and wellbeing.

You must be enrolled in the Harris Health System Medical Plan to be eligible for coaching. Completion of coaching is worth 200 Premium Points* on www.mycigna.com.

Cigna Healthy Pregnancies, Healthy Babies™ Program


The Cigna Healthy Pregnancies, Healthy Babies™ Program is a telephonic coaching program that involves speaking with a Cigna maternity nurse once a month throughout your pregnancy, and concludes with one post-delivery call. Call 1-800-615-2906 to enroll.

Employees on the Harris Health medical plan and their covered spouses are eligible to earn Premium Points on their Cigna MotivateMe© page for completing this program.

*Participants who enroll in their 1st trimester are eligible to receive 400 Premium Points.
