IMPERIAL BEACH DEMOCRATIC CLUB NEWS

NEW MEETING SCHEDULE FOR 2023

Based on your input, our new Executive Board has made some changes to our meeting schedule. Instead of holding a monthly business meeting as we have done in the past, we will have bi-monthly business meetings and a social activity or special meeting in the alternate months. The EBoard is planning some exciting and fun events to give us a chance to get to know each other better and build solidarity among our members

Business meetings will continue to be held on the first Thursday of the months we meet: March, May, July, September and November unless otherwise noticed.

Our next meeting will be on March 2 at Seaside Candy.

IBDC January Meeting Re-cap

If our first meeting of 2023 was any indication, this is going to be a good year for our Club. We had a great turnout at Seaside Candy and on ZOOM and there was excitement in the air as we reunited as a Club in our old meeting location. Thanks to everyone who participated and a special thanks to Mayor Aguirre for administering the Oath of Office to our Board and talking with us about her priorities as Mayor. Special thanks also go out to our outgoing Board members Marti Emerald, Antonio Martinez and Paula Hall for their service and dedication to our Club and Party.

Congratulations to our new Executive Board officers:

President - Anna Webb
