A cry for help as deadly flooding and a pandemic batters desperate families seeking safety and shelter at Nogales’s Juan Bosco Migrant Shelter.
In the last two days unprecedented flash flooding and a spreading deadly Covid variant are providing an immediate threat to the growing number of families finding care and compassion at this shelter.
To enable Shelter director Gilda and her staff to meet the needs of over 300 asylum seekers, one third of whom are children, your help is urgently needed – now!
Needed immediately are funds to purchase:
· Medical supplies
· Food and formula
· Cooking fuel
· Clothing
· Personal hygiene products
Contributions should be made to the Border Community Alliance. Be sure to designate your contribution to the "San Juan Bosco Shelter", an option under "Mexican Pass Thru" drop-down.
