CALL NEWS
At its December meeting, the Luther High School Board of Control issued three calls for full-time instructors.
Pastor Evan Chartrand was called to serve as our campus pastor. Pastor Chartrand is 34 years old and serves at Luther Prep in Watertown, Wisconsin. Luther Prep is a high school that prepares and encourages high school students to consider serving in the public ministry. Pastor Chartrand's wife Joanna is a wellness coach.
Mr. Joe Fetcenko was called to serve as a full-time instructor in our practical arts department with the emphasis of being the lead teacher with our new Industry 4.0 curriculum. Mr. Fetcenko currently serves as the 6th-grade homeroom teacher at St. Paul's Lutheran in Onalaska. Mr. Fetcenko's wife Danielle also teaches at St. Paul's, Onalaska.
Mr. Nathan Gartner was called to serve as a full-time instructor and our boys' varsity basketball coach. Mr. Gartner currently serves as vice-principal and upper-grade teacher at Mt. Olive Lutheran School in Appleton, Wisconsin. He has earned his master's degree in curriculum and instruction. Mr. Gartner and his wife Lauren have two children that are six and two years old. They are expecting their third child in April.
We keep the Chartrands, Fetcenkos, and Gartners in our prayers as they consider serving at Luther High School.
