Assisting Trauma Impacted Children 

 

A two-hour presentation to understand more about Adverse Childhood Experiences and the importance of focusing on building resiliency.  The key to understanding trauma and its lifelong impacts.

The Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) test is key to understanding trauma and its lifelong impact.  Focusing on what to do after an event is vially more important for our children's mental and physical health.  Learn how to best support those impacted by trauma by assisting them with building resilience.  Make a difference in children's lives, it's much simpler than we all think!

Shaun is a certified Parent Educator, Coach, teaching Redirecting Children's Behavior and the High Conflict Diversion program in the Sarasota, Manatee local community. She is the proud mother of two sons and has lovingly and successfully implemented Redirecting Children's Behavior in her own home for twenty-six years. Shaun has worked with families and parents for over twenty years, receiving her Certification through the International Network for Children and Families. Shaun is furthering her passion for providing families with options to create more peace, harmony and fun within their families as the Director of Training & Professional Development, The Florida Center Training Institute.
