Building with Clay Ceramics
There are only 2 weeks left in our 8-week program, Building with Clay Ceramics! Classes are taught by Janet Schneider and will meet on Tuesdays, August 17th, and 24th from 12:30pm-3pm in the PHP Art Studio. Cost is $240 per person*. Alexa Foreman Talk
Please join us to hear from Alexa Foreman on Tuesday, August 17th at 2pm in the Georgian Room. Alexa will be speaking about her interviews with over 100 stars, directors, writers, and editors over the years as a researcher and producer at Turner Classic Movies.
Wine & Wickets

Caregiver Support Group
Please join us for a Caregiver Support Group facilitated by Mandy Merkel, MMSc, CMS, CCC-SLP. Share your experience and learn about available help for caregivers. Van Gogh Experience
Join us for a visit to the Van Gogh Immersive Experience where you can enjoy the works of the Dutch genius yourself in the artist's masterpieces with a 360-degree digital art exhibition.

Our event dates are Thursdays, August 19th & 26th from 1:45pm - 4:30pm. Please meet in the Lobby at 1:30. These last 2 dates are sold out, but if you are interested, we do have a waitlist. NOTE: Any cancellations will be charged to Member Accounts.

"Caring for the Caregiver" Lecture
Join us for a "Caring for the Caregiver Lecture" for all Members on Thursday, August 19th at 3pm in the Georgian Room. It will be presented by Jennifer Heinz, Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator, at Capstone Hospice.
Farm to Table Dinner
Join us for a Farm to Table Dinner Tuesday, August 24th from 6:30-8:30pm. Enjoy a delicious set Mediterranean-inspired menu and wine pairing along with exclusive information about The Terraces at Peachtree Hills Place new and unique Short-term Stay Program in our Farm Household. Music On the Balcony
He's back! Join us for music on the balcony with Joe Gransden on Wednesday, August 25th from 6pm-8pm. Joe is an amazing and well-known trumpet player with a singing voice that has been compared to Chet Baker and Frank Sinatra. He is always a crowd favorite!
Car Detailing
Premium Detail Pros will be here on Thursday, August 26th from 9am-5pm for car detailing. The cost is $100 for a 2-hour detail. Optional add-ons are available. If you would like to reserve a spot, please call Concierge at 678.619.0474.
Fall Bible Study
Coming Soon
The Fall session of the PHP Bible Study will begin Wednesday, September 8th from 4:30pm–5:30pm in the Bridle Room. The study will focus on the Life of Jesus as told in the Four Gospels. Teachers are Members, the Rev. Dr. Cheryl A. Gosa and Rev. Beth A. Gustafson. All are welcome! No previous experience with the Bible is required! Let Cheryl know if you are interested by emailing her or by calling 404-281-0339 so that enough materials can be ordered. Come and look at the events in Jesus’ life from the perspective of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and how Jesus’ life inspires yours today.
Book Club
Book Club will resume on Thursday, September 16th at 4pm with the book Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano. Marianne Hickey will lead the discussion in the Bridle Room

Save the date for Thursday, October 21st at 4pm for the book The Only Woman in the Room by Marie Benedict. Leila Taratus will lead the discussion in the Bridle Room.

  • Reservations can be made in advance each Sunday for the current week and the following week.
  • Please include the names of those who are playing in the reservation details section.
  • To reserve a full lawn, you must reserve BOTH lawn 1a and lawn 1b.
  • Sign-ups for social play are no longer required.

Croquet Equipment
Members will need to pick up their own mallets and balls from the Fitness Center when going to play croquet. We ask that all equipment be returned after playing.
NOTE: We now have two lightweight mallets available to check out at Concierge if you would like to try one out.
