HIV PACT and FREE HIV Self-Test Kits

NHMA is a proud member of Partnering and Communicating Together (PACT), a funded partnership between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and some of the nation’s leading organizations representing the populations hardest-hit by HIV.

Ordering a free HIV self-test kit is quick and easy. If your patient live in the United States (including Puerto Rico), they are eligible to request one or two test kits at bit.ly/3vxsPI6.
Make sure that you, your loved ones, and your patients are covered — the Affordable Care Act's special enrollment period ends in just two days on August 15! NHMA is proud to collaborate with AARP to share a guide to understanding costs, coverage, subsidies and how to sign up for a plan. If you've lost your health insurance during the pandemic or have just been unable to pay for coverage in the past, it's time to take another look at the Affordable Care Act. Even people who already have a marketplace plan might want to take a look and see if they can get a better deal under the new rules.
Find If You Have Implicit Bias & What to Do Next! Healthcare providers are not immune to implicit bias. These biases — which affect our decisions about others beyond our conscious control — can lead to discrimination and health disparities. Fortunately, implicit bias can be “rewired” for compassion for patients of color. Get started with the “Find If You Have Implicit Bias and What to Do Next” Action Pack from Salud America! at UT Health San Antonio! salud.to/healthbias
