Why is showing up to Mass physically so important?
We experience the presence of Christ in community, through physical gathering in a church building, the "house of God," dedicated to worship. We come together to receive the sacraments, which are physical signs of God's grace. Assembled physically and in community, we experience the presence of Christ in a much more tangible way than virtually. Learn more at archseattle.org/Mass.
Pease join us at one of the following Masses:
Saturday at 5:00pm
Sunday at 9:00am
Sunday at 11:00am
Masks are no longer required in the Archdiocese of Seattle, but we continue to uphold other COVID-19 safety measures to continue to provide a safe space to worship for everyone. We understand that not everyone is comfortable without a mask at this time, and we also realize that not everyone wants to continue mask use. We welcome all people regardless of their mask preference and wish to provide a welcoming environment so that we may continue to carry out the mission of the Church. We appreciate all of our parishioners understanding both sides and respecting everyone’s choice in the body of Christ.
Please self-screen and stay home if you are not feeling well. Sick, vulnerable, at-risk, and otherwise concerned persons are encouraged to celebrate Mass with us via livestream.

|
Please enjoy these pictures from recent events. Thank you to all who are able to come out and join us for worship and fellowship. Truly, your presence - showing up for each other - lifts us all up and enriches our souls.
Thank you also to all who continue to stay connected to us via livestream, social media, letters, phone calls, and donations. We appreciate your continued support. We think about you and pray for you, and cannot wait to see you here again.

PRAYER SERVICE FOR MARRIED COUPLES
Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 30 at 7:00pm in the Church
|
|
Just like Jesus Christ will resurrect from death to life, our marriages may be in need of a resurrection. In the busyness of life, make a date night with your spouse to participate in a prayer service for your marriage. Take the opportunity this Lent to connect with each other through prayer.
Join us for one hour to focus on one another. Dialogue will only be between you and your spouse. Listen to a reflection by Deacon Eric Paige (Director of Marriage, Family Life, and Formation for the Archdiocese of Seattle), examine your conscience, write a letter to your spouse, and spend time in prayer TOGETHER.
When we pray, we are sharing the deepest part of ourselves with God. When a couple prays together, they share the deepest part of themselves with each other and God; they share the experience of God, who is LOVE!
Time for individual confession with Fr. Vu will be offered after the service for those attending.
Signup on the welcome table or by contacting the parish office. Please let us know if you need childcare during the prayer service.

Classes will be held online using Zoom videoconferencing software. The class will use a text, Hebrews, by Mary Healy; it’s cost is $17.29. You can register by calling the church office at 425-823-0787 or by signing up at the welcome table in the narthex. Please indicate whether you want us to order a copy of the text for you.

50TH ANNIVERSARY HISTORY BOOK
|
|
We have received reports of both parishioners and parish staff receiving email messages claiming to be from their parish priest, or staff members requesting a favor. The sender requests the recipient to send gift cards or initiate wire transfers.
Recently, this has spread to text messaging. If a fraudulent text message is received, the best recourse is to contact your cellular carrier (ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, etc.) for assistance. While reports to date have been related to emails and text messages, it is likely that this will spread to voice calls as well.
Recipients of these communications should never respond or send gift cards, wire transfers, etc. As always, when receiving unexpected communications requesting money, gift cards, or
information, we recommend following up via an alternative method (calling the parish, etc.) to confirm the authenticity of the request.
Your pastor(al leader), parish staff/volunteers, will NEVER ask you to give them a donation directly. The parish will only be collecting funds for:
- annual parish stewardship
- the Annual Catholic Appeal
- special collections that are publicized at Mass and in the bulletin
If you receive a request for a gift that appears to come from the parish, your pastor(al leader),
or parish staff/volunteers that isn’t for one of the above, you should ign
ore this request.
