CHAMBER VLOG: "3DH"
Three tips from our Chamber as we move toward economic recovery. #KeepItLocal365
$5M COVID-RELIEF FUND AWARDED
New COVID-19 Grants: El Dorado County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to grant $5 million of the $19+ million CARES Act funds to help our County’s small businesses and nonprofits who have incurred COVID-19 related expenses. We are grateful to our County Supervisors and Leadership for their support and recognition of our business community.

We are proud to be part of this collaboration for the small business community. Earlier this year and in conjunction with the El Dorado County Chamber, we pioneered the Western Slope Small Business Relief Fund, which was managed by the El Dorado Community Foundation. This fund received generous donations and granted sixty-seven $1,000 grants; every business that applied was funded.

This established fund serves as the vehicle for the CARES Act money to be distributed to our small businesses. We are thrilled to serve on El Dorado County’s Business Protection Workforce Group, which has established the new grant process.

Applications for a grant will be posted soon at www.eldoradocf.org.

APPLE HILL GUIDELINES FALL 2020
COVID-19 Public Statement: The Apple Hill Growers look forward to welcoming visitors to our farms and wineries this harvest season. During this challenging time with COVID-19 in our midst, we want you to know that your health and safety, and that of our employees is of utmost importance. As such, visits to our facilities will look and feel different this year as we implement protocols in accordance with California Industry Guidance for COVID-19 operations.

In planning for your visit, we ask that you bring a mask and plan to keep groups to your household members only. For our part, we are making sure that our facilities are set up to allow for appropriate social distancing in all areas, include additional sanitation measures, require that employees wear protective masks, and offer safe payment options. Some farms and wineries are taking reservations for visits and U-Pick activities, or may have additional measures in place for our busiest weekends in October. As you make your plans to visit, we recommend that you check member websites, social media, or call ahead for any last-minute details to ensure a fun and successful experience.

Apple Hill Grower member farms look forward to welcoming you during Harvest Season 2020!
