Residents Gone Wild!
Residents from sister communities Oak Hill Supportive Living Community and Victory Centre of Vernon Hills got to view and feed the wildlife on an open wagon ride through Safari Lake Geneva, Wisconsin's only conservation park that is preserving species from around the world. The up-close adventure was the next best thing to going to Africa!

Centenarian Artist’s Second Solo Exhibit!
The amazing, abstract artwork of Victory Centre of Bartlett’s 100-year-old resident Helen was featured in a second exhibit this year at the Village of Bartlett - Illinois Art Museum!

After moving to Victory Centre, Helen began creating fine art at age 96 and has produced dozens of paintings that draw praise from people in the local art scene and inspire her fellow residents to express themselves as well.
Inspirational Art

Artistic Alexian Village residents worked together to create a colorful and joyful piece with a positive message guaranteed to brighten the day of anyone who sees it. Thank you to Dawn from ConnectandColor for guiding the making of this artistic treasure.
Paint & Sip
Victory Centre of Roseland residents captured summer scenes on canvas to display and warm their hearts in winter during a popular Paint & Sip party.
Happy Campers Celebrate
Camp VIVA!’s 10th Anniversary
About 80 Pathway to Living residents spent a glorious September day soaking up outdoor fun and adventure at Camp VIVA! Happy campers, vaccinated and wearing masks, celebrated ten years of memorable Camp VIVA! at Sunrise Lake Outdoor Education Center.

The young-at-heart enjoyed paddle boating, fishing, archery, tie-dying and, of course, barbecuing. Thanks to sunscreen, bug spray and the incredible team of volunteers from Pathway and FOX Rehabilitation, everyone had a blast and is looking forward to returning next year.
What’s SO SPECIAL about Working in Senior Living?
The people! The video features some older adult residents who rave about their wonderful experiences with Pathway to Living team members and share how much they’d love to have you be part of their community.
Fall is a Fine Time
for a Senior Living Move
Older adults who are ready to embrace the benefits of senior living may be wondering, with the holidays on the horizon and the pandemic in flux, if it is the right time to move.

Even when a move to assisted living make sense and may be necessary for a senior’s wellbeing, some families are taking a wait-and-see approach before the holidays. Waiting, however, isn’t always the best course of action, especially when you consider the many advantages of a pre-holiday, fall move to senior living.
