New from Globalize DC:
GLOBAL ALERT FOR DC EDUCATORS/STUDENTS
September 16, 2020

Happy New (School) Year! This is such a strange and challenging time. I hope you are safe and healthy, and living life as well as can be expected.

Again this year, Globalize DC will be sending out Global Alerts to share (mostly) fully funded global education and study abroad opportunities open to DC public school students, educators, and schools. We hope you will take advantage!

Even though we live in uncertain times, most program organizers are thankfully moving forward with plans for next year, including study abroad, and are beginning to make their application announcements. It is our recommendation that you push forward and apply for programs that interest you. Be assured that programs will be cancelled, postponed, or adapted if conditions remain unsafe. So our advice is to go for it!

The next few months will be the busy season for some of the most exciting programs available, many funded by the US government. These are life-changers - and free! Please take a look - and pass this information along to any students or teachers who might be interested or could benefit.

During this time of virtual learning, we are particularly reliant on you to help us spread the word to people you think may have an interest in these global learning opportunities. Anyone can sign up for this free Global Alert, so please SHARE SHARE SHARE within your networks! Thank you and stay safe!
