LASP Restores Access to Life-Sustaining Medication
Ms. M, a senior citizen, lost her Medicaid due to a paperwork misunderstanding. The result was disastrous -  she could no longer afford life-sustaining medication. When she went to the Medical Assistance office to correct the problem, she was told by the worker, "You're better off than some people." However, he said he would correct the problem. When another month passed and she was still without the Medicaid needed to obtain her medication, she called LASP. Her advocate contacted the county office, her Medicaid was approved, and access to her important medication was restored.

You can help people like Ms. M and other vulnerable and low-income residents of Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties by  donating now to LASP.

Name has been changed but the story is real.
