CRCOG’s accepting RFPs for Transportation Rural Improvement Program (TRIP)

Connecticut Department of Transportation’s Transportation Rural Improvement Program (TRIP) is a new, three-year program that provides $15 million for eligible construction projects from rural towns. Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) can submit up to four (4) projects for funding consideration. This program is open to municipalities with greater than or equal to fifty percent of their population living in areas federally classified as rural. Within CRCOG, this includes Andover, Bolton, Columbia, Coventry, East Granby, Hebron, Stafford, and Willington.

CRCOG is inviting eligible municipalities to submit proposals for Transportation Improvement Projects for potential funding under the Transportation Rural Improvement Program (TRIP)

CRCOG’s 2023 LOTCIP RFPs are now open

Municipalities may submit proposals for Transportation Improvement Projects for funding under the Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program (LOTCIP). Currently, CRCOG is reserving $33.75 million for this purpose.

Here is the Request for Proposals (RFPs) information on how to apply. Please note that all application materials are due to CRCOG by 2 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Templates for RFP-required documents and associated supporting documents can be found here.

Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over 2022 holiday season impaired driving campaign

As we prepare for festivities with family and friends, we want to remind all drivers of the dangers of drunk driving. Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.

You should choose your role before drinking begins: will you drink or drive? Remember, even if you just had one drink and think you are "okay to drive," you could still be going impaired.

Here are the campaign materials. We encourage you to share with your family, friends, and colleagues.
