Homelessness News: A New Season
100-Day Challenge on Youth Homelessness
Before COVID-19 struck, our community set out on a mission to prevent and end Youth and Young Adult homelessness in Northeast Florida as part of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Cohort 5 of the Rapid Results Institute 100-Day Challenge on Youth Homelessness.

Support Veteran Voting Rights
The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program Office is requesting Grantees work with the Veterans they serve to get registered to vote. The Veterans we work with have supported their country by signing their name on the line to serve in the United States Military to fight for our Freedom. Now is our time to support them, by helping them get registered to vote.

More information about voter registration deadlines, a guide for new voters, and a voter registration link can be found here
3rd Annual State of Homelessness and Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast: Virtual Coffee Edition
Last month, we hosted our 3rd Annual State of Homelessness and Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast: Virtual Coffee Edition.

We released the numbers from our community's 2020 Point-in-Time Count and brought together national thought leaders to discuss the state of homelessness in modern America, covering topics like COVID-19, racial inequity, and recognizing housing as healthcare. The full event is now available to watch online.
2020 Census
The challenges of COVID-19 have given us unique opportunities to take care of each other. Now there’s another way we can help each other – by encouraging our team members and the clients we serve to complete the 2020 Census, before September 30.

Why is this important? When the federal government conducts the Census, it not only counts everyone in our state, it makes crucial funding allocation decisions based on that count for health care, social services, and community programs and hospitals for the next 10 years.

Information you provide is strictly confidential and cannot be used against you in any way. The Census form can be completed online, by phone (844/330-2020), or by mail.
