Construction Law Section Webinar on July 27th

BIM Design: With Great Technology
Comes Greater Problems

Please join the REBA Construction Law Section for a webinar at 12 noon on Tuesday, July 27th. Scott Hall, CFO & Project Architect, Albert Crepeau, Project Manager, and Patrick Mixdorf, Project Architect, all of EGA Architects in Newburyport, will present. REBA Construction Law Section Co-chair Jeff Alitz will act as the moderator.

This program will focus on difficulties that have arisen on projects as the computer generated and aided 3-D modeling (sometimes referred to as BIM) becomes standard. Our speakers will demonstrate how BIM design technology works, and discuss issues they are encountering with contractors and others who are not adept at following or interpreting the BIM designs. If nothing else, attendees should profit from learning about the design technology that is changing how buildings are designed and built.

This webcast program, open to all REBA members, is from 12 to 1 pm on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. There will be no in-person attendance.

To register, email Victoria D’Angelo at dangelo@reba.net.
