our Culinary Geography Class with experienced chef
(My Cafe Gourmand) and teacher of French Natali Delepine. During this class we will tell you a bit about France and it's wonderful traditions, learn some French and cook
Galette Des Rois using Natali's very own recipe.
Please find the list of ingredients and tools we are going to use along with the recipe below.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (100 g) softened butter (make sure you take it out of the fridge at least hour in advance before the class)
- 1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup (100 g) almond flour
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 Tbsp rum (optional)
- 2 sheets ready-to-use puff pastry ( Puff Pastry Sheets)
- 1 egg yolk
Tools:
Baking sheets, Parchment paper, Whisk or hand mixer, Mixing bowls, Sharp knife

We are asking everyone in our Beloved Familia to provide the yearbook committee with a portrait photo, plus any other school-related photos you're willing to share. This could be pictures of your remote learning or teaching workspace, student projects, virtual field trips, PTA events, first day back to school, and more.

Being a PTA member gives you and your student a voice at Puesta del Sol!
Members vote on issues such as programming, budget, and board members. It's a terrific way for older students to learn the value of civic engagement.
Puesta del Sol PTA membership is open to everyone! PTA is an inclusive organization, and we invite any community members who care about healthy children and strong schools to join.

| Meals 2 Go | |
|
The Meals2Go program, offered by our Nutrition Services team, is designed to provide a FREE breakfast and lunch option for families to access for their children. Families have two options to access meals on school days:
*As of January 21, 2021 meal pick up times will be adjusted due to dismissal times for our elementary schools.
Meals are provided at no cost thanks to the extension of a nationwide waiver authorized by USDA. This waiver will be in effect for the entire 2020-21 school year.
