Helping Heads Of School Better Understand the Role and Challenges of Being a Board Chair
ISCA has been asked to present at a conference for Heads of School that focuses on the Head - Chair relationship. The responsibility to establish a good relationship between the Head and Chair has often weighed heavier on the Chair, but in fact, good partnerships require mutual understanding and empathy about each other's roles.
ISCA would like to collect some data from all our members about this topic that not only will be the focus of this conference session, but hopefully will be used more widely to help Heads better understand your unique role, what is challenging about it, and how they might support you better.
